Orders, accounts and enquiries. When you order, create an account, ask a question about an item or use the sell/trade form, we receive the details you enter: name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and your message. We use them to answer you and to fulfil and invoice the order, and for nothing else. The website is hosted by Bibliopolis in the United States, which stores this data on our behalf. Invoices are kept for five years, as Danish bookkeeping law requires; other data is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Payments. Payment is by bank transfer, handled by your bank and ours. The website stores no card data.

Newsletter. If you sign up, your e-mail address is used to send you our catalogues and new-arrival notices. The mailings are sent through Constant Contact in the United States, which records whether a message was opened and which links were clicked. Every mailing carries an unsubscribe link, and you may unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies and statistics. The site sets the cookies needed for the shopping cart and your account. With your consent, given through the cookie banner, Google Analytics records anonymised usage statistics. The host keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security.

Your rights. You may ask at any time what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, or receive it in a portable form: write to info@sophiarb.com. You may also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
